Over the last few months, it’s come to our attention that others in the sports equipment sector have been producing their own versions of DEM Sports cages.   These are often cheaper, and always of less good quality than that which our customers have come to expect.   We at DEM Sports are the inventors and manufacturers of the original and best folding practice cages, and want to remind you, our customers, what sets us apart and makes us stand out from the crowd.

We’ve been manufacturing our Concertina cages in-house in the UK for more than 10 years, so have a detailed understanding of the product, its quirks and how it works.   The folding cage is a tried and tested design that has stood the test of time – and, used properly and treated with respect, will withstand pretty much anything that our customers and the British weather can throw at it.

• We understand that customers are not all alike and that one size doesn’t necessarily fit all.   Yes, we make cages in standard sizes, but we are adept too at adapting the design to meet what our customers want.   Around 50% of our work is bespoke – whether it’s a bit of tweaking or a whole new design, we’re responsive to the needs of our customers.
  
  
• Quality is our watchword.   We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our workmanship.   Our newly-installed powder-coating plant gives us an even better opportunity to ensure that the quality of the finished article is second to none, and that some of the inevitable delays when parts of the manufacturing process are outsourced are reduced, meaning quicker delivery times.
  
  
• We’re passionate about the health & safety of our customers, so, for example, our Concertina cage uses heavier grade steel for its support posts, and crossrails at the back for stability.   The Combi cage includes a spreader bar to hold the cage rigid and stable when being moved.   Strength and stability are of utmost importance.
  
  
• We have a dedicated team of installers, who have a clear understanding of the products and are responsive to customers’ needs.   They will never leave an installation without giving a thorough demonstration of the product and how it works.
  
  
• We pride ourselves on our customer care and our after sales service, with prompt and courteous attention in the event of any (extremely rare) problems.
